Great all around trimmer!
I purchased the BCZ2460S to use on residential properties and so far I'm very pleased with it! The trimmer head end of this trimmer is very light weight and easy to control for edging which is really nice compared to some of the competitors that have a heavier trimmer head end. Also this trimmer has more than enough power to handle residential work but can also handle some heavier stuff as well. Over all its an all around trimmer that can handle mostly any job.

This trimmer works very well.
Just bought this to replace a cheap residential model after comparing numerous other brands. Like the construction,warranty,numerous blade types available ,ease of replacing the line,and of course the great power. Read the owner's manual and put it right to work using the recommended premixed fuel. Ran well and cut well.I was surprised at the lower vibration, reduced noise level, and excellent power! Bought it from a dealer who will help with maintenance.

Do Not BUy
I used this product on 40 accounts per week for commercial use. After 8 months of use it failed.

Great Trimmer
My name is Axel. My only problem I have had on this trimmer is, the eye on the head came out and I lost it. But overall this is a great machine. Im really suprised on how quiet it is. My friend has a Echo trimmer, and man its loud. I paid $309 and this is a steal for the price! It always starts up. You don't need to take the gaurd off. When you edge you can see very well. This trimmer last a long time on gas. Its better then the "4 mix" engines because they dont have as many problems, you don't need to adjust the cyclinder and they are heavy. I love Redmax!

Best trimmer out there
Best trimmer period. These trimmers kicked the stilhs out of my trailer. They are well balanced and feel very light. The spools are very easy to wind and load. Works excellent for edging. These trimmers hold up to everyday use, I had one fall off the trailer, i picked it off the pavement and it started right up, didn't miss a beat. We liked this trimmer so much we bought three of them.

Can't beat it!
I went to the dealer to buy a different brand but when he showed me this Redmax, I wavered. I studied up online and found several positive reviews, watched several impressive videos, and made my decision to buy it. Wow! As a teenager, I helped my dad mow commercially. We used a different brand and it was prior to all the EPA changes. Even still, this trimmer caught me TOTALLY off-guard. The engine has tons of "pep" and enough torque to rip through whatever's in front of ya. I no longer mow commercially, but I'm a perfectionist...long story short, BUY THIS TRIMMER! You'll be surprised.

Great so far!!
I purchased a BCZ2460S today. I looked at other trimmers and found a couple that I liked and the 2460S was one of them. What made me purchase this model was the fact that it was 1lb lighter than the other model and a couple of friends had also recommended them.
I went straight home and quicky the read the "Starting Engine" section and proceeded to trim my yard and the neighbors too. It was awesome!! I think that with a little more use, I will appreciate the extra money I spent on power and bigger size. I am changing styles(curved shaft to straight shaft) and models and should get more efficient at using it once I am "used" to it.
I only gave 4 bars for durability for the simple fact that I haven't had it long enough to make an honest comment on that. It appears to be well built and will last a long time with proper maintenance. Luckily the store I purchased it at, is a RedMax Dealer and can do my repairs also.
